Avicultural Society of Australia - Bendigo Branch

I have kept birds almost continuously for the last 50 years ,but there is still lots to learn.  I first joined the Bendigo Branch of the ASA around 1966 although I have had periods away from the membership.During this time I have held several positions on the commitee, most memorable to me was probably my time as secretary in the late sixties.  In the early days I had a large collection of Pheasants but today my interests are with Parrots and Cockatoo's.            

I am dan, i learnt what i know from my dad, and now i want to learn more from others that can help me attchive my goal of breeding king parrots and other types of parrots,

I have a pair however uncertain of sex.

 hi, i love my birds.  i did breed love birds, but now i'm breeding budgies, cockatiels and hopefully eclectus parrots.  next year i hope to add some princess parrots and regent parrots, before i need hubby to make more aviaries.  i also love my bunnies and breed dwarf lop rabbits.

I have been involved with birds from a very young age as my grandparents kept budgies, canaries and pigeons. I followed this passion and now have quite a few birds myself.

I have met alot of people some of who are now good friends though our common interest of birds.

I am the current Exchange Steward and Bird Sale Coordinator.
